Know The Law! A Play Written For & Performed By Boston Teenagers

Recently I received an email about the play Know The Law! and it sounds like something that could benefit a lot of people.

Know The Law! is a 40-minute play of interwoven dramas about teenagers in trouble directed by Naheem Garcia.

The play is presented by Huntington Theatre Company's Department of Education and Community Programs and Children's Services of Roxbury. Know The Law! is sponsored in part by a grant from Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale & Dorr.

Teen actors present authentic scenes in an effort to teach their peers how a better understanding of Massachusetts law can help them make informed choices and stay out of trouble.

A discussion between the actors, the audience, Boston Police, Transit Officers, and EMTs follow each performance.

All performances are free and open to the public. No RSVPs needed.

School groups may call Education Associate Marisa Jones for reservations at 617.273.1549 or email her at mjones@huntingtontheatre.bu.edu.

Dates: Friday, June 29th at 7pm & Saturday, June 30th at 2pm.

Location: The Kroc Center, 650 Dudley Street, Dorchester, MA
